THE CLIENT | Akiva Reich & Co - Hasbrouck House + Butterfield

THE PROJECT | INTERIOR DESIGN CONSULTANT

We were brought on to this project to assist the owners Akiva Reich (Akiva Reich & Co) and Eitan Baron, in the design of this 200+ year old property located in Stone Ridge, NY.

The mission was to turn a humble historic bed & breakfast into a modern destination hotel and restaurant, while respecting the historic details and significance of the property.

The three buildings: the main house, carriage house and stable residence were renovated and converted into a total of 17 private hotel suites complete with marble tiled baths and plank wooden floors. Working with the owners, we supported them in the execution of their vision through determining a color palette referential of the Dutch Colonial roots, combined with modern textiles, wall coverings and fixtures. Finished with a selection of furnishings, that are both new and vintage.
